How to Retire Early and Travel the World in Your Golden Years
Unless you inherit rich or won the lottery you can not expect to
retire well off. The pension schemes out there are insufficient and a
good scheme is expensive. You must start to do something for yourself.
Here is what I think is necessary to ensure that you can retire in comfort.
Here is what I think is necessary to ensure that you can retire in comfort.
- Firstly you must make up your mind that you are going to take responsibility of your own future. If you are currently working in the private sector you will know by now that a pension fund in the private sector is non-existing.
- The government worker with a pension will find that even though they have a better pension, it still will probably be in-sufficient to ensure a comfortable retirement.
- What I am driving at is, no matter how near or far you are from retirement, you must start to invest in your own future. I am not necessary meaning that you have to part from your hard earned money.
- I am saying that you must start to educate yourself and find out ways and means to earn some sort of a passive income, this where the internet is an invaluable tool with unending sources of information, the biggest obstacle though is that you have to separate the "junk" from the really good stuff.
- You must start immediately to get rid of your debt, do not buy into the pay now and pay later schemes, in the end you end up with debt that must be paid and certainly by you.
- You must start to concentrate on what you want to achieve, if you think that it is too late to start to ensure that you can retire in style, just realize that if you do nothing you will have no change.
- If start to do something today there is a real possibility that you will at least be better of that where you are now. Stop procrastinating, I know, we all do it.
There is a way of getting the correct mindset to help you getting
out of debt and start to earn real honest money and possibly turn it
into a full-blown business that can be passed over to your children or
loved ones when the time come.
