Bull's Eye

Bull's Eye Foreword

Much like the Bible, which is actually 66 books under one cover, Bull's Eye is a complete library of information disguised as a single book - and what a valuable book it is. If you are seeking a compilation of what is, in my opinion, some of the best information on success, then Bull's Eye should be your bible. It is so well written, so complete. Bull's Eye fascinated me, as I'm sure it will you.

For the past 50 years I, too, have studied the foundational principles of a successful life. I have thousands of books in my personal library on the subject. I place Bull's Eye right up there with Napoleon Hill's great work The Laws of Success.

Robert's research and experience are impressive and, by anyone's standard, he would be considered a very successful person. Everyone who knows him well will be quick to tell you that he has spent his entire life gathering and testing the various philosophies, skills and strategies required to create a successful life. Robert is refreshingly candid about his mistakes, which will not only help you avoid making the same ones, but will also benefit you because he has weeded out what doesn't work and documented that which he has proved does work.

Many years ago Napoleon Hill wrote, "No person has a chance to enjoy permanent success until he begins to look in a mirror for the real cause of all his mistakes." Bull's Eye will become a mirror for you as it has for me.

As your eyes move from page to page, you will realize that Robert Kennedy has approached the various aspects of successful living much like a master astronomer. He's devised theories, conducted research, collected and analyzed data, charted the planets and reported on how each one affects the others, in turn helping us understand the fundamental nature of the universe.

Bull's Eye has a tremendous beginning. In the first section, Robert opens with a power suggestion: "Choose a High-Payoff Target." After decades of working in the field of personal development, I have found this to be crucial advice. The vast majority of the population doesn't even set goals, and the individuals who do, set them too low. By immersing yourself in this book, you will definitely be leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else.

From the first page of Bull's Eye to the very last, Robert's writing will open your mind to new ways of seeing the world. It will cause you to stretch. As you become familiar with his philosophy, you will realize that setting a high-payoff target does not take any more energy than the Chicken Little goals that dominate the mind of the masses, and by working smarter, hitting that target is definitely within your reach. In fact, as the front cover of this book says, "Failure is not an option."

I love Robert's approach in the second chapter, "Make Sure You've Got a Good Shot at Success." He wants you to begin with the idea of a big win. Robert sees no value in developing your mind for small wins - and he is right on the mark. Keep in mind Robert Kennedy has rubbed shoulders with some absolute giants in business and industry. His theories are not based on pie-in-the-sky concepts that were dreamed up by him and his buddies over a few beers after a ball game.

In the chapter "Prepare Yourself for a Downturn," Robert helps you anticipate and plan for the obstacles and setbacks that will inevitably come. There's a natural rhythm in life; summer never follows summer. When you get hit with a downturn and you are prepared, you don't even have to slow down - and you never quit. You can keep on keeping on.

In "Scared Money Never Wins," Robert explains how the very word "scared" sets up a negative vibration in your mind. Scared never attracts positive. Keep in mind, energy always attracts like energy. That chapter is followed by one whose title is a suggestion every successful person would surely agree with: "Apply Faith." While reading this book, your faith will continually expand. It will grow as you move from one chapter to the next.

You will become more aware of the power you have within.

Throughout Bull's Eye, Robert shares several interesting stories that not only add interest and help keep you focused, but also give you an inside look at who Robert Kennedy really is. Some stories will cause you to laugh out loud and one is quite heartrending. He does such a good job recounting these stories you will feel as if you are right there as he shares them with you.

Robert has also included in-depth interviews with a number of individuals from different professions, all of whom have enjoyed massive success. As you read through the interviews, some common themes will arise and it will become apparent that all of these successful people have followed the principles that Robert has laid out for you in this book.

But, before I give too much away, let me assure you that the further you get into Bull's Eye, the more you are going to like it. By following the strategies for applying this powerful information that Robert has laid out, you will develop an expanded awareness that will carry you to achieve any goal you set.

Permit me to suggest that you make the same decision I made 50 years ago after Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich was placed in my hands. I decided that I would make Hill's philosophy a part of my way of thinking, a part of my way of life. It was a decision that has rewarded me over and over again. Bull's Eye is now in your hands. Keep it close to you and make Robert Kennedy's rich, rewarding philosophy a part of your way of thinking, a part of your way of life.
